Heather Ostwalt
Heather Ostwalt’s passion for sports began in Boone, North Carolina, where she developed a love for athletics and teamwork that carried throughout her academic and professional journey. She earned both her Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems and her MBA from Appalachian State University. During her time at App State, Heather competed as a member of the Women’s Soccer program from 2016–2019, further strengthening her connection to the game and the community surrounding it. Following her playing career, she continued to stay involved in the sport by coaching middle school girls’ classic soccer with NC Fusion for three years.
Outside of work, Heather enjoys staying active and spending time outdoors. Snowboarding is one of her favorite ways to unwind in the winter, while running is something she tolerates in the name of staying active. Most of all, Heather loves spending time with her two dogs, who are her favorite companions during her downtime.
